We got official word today that Alli and I will be part of a ministry in Denver called Urban Skye. We have been talking to them throughout the summer about a partnership and it has finally come together. We will be considered urban missionaries to Denver. We will meet regularly with other leaders from Urban Skye and occasionally contribute to projects such as writing or speaking for them. As part of the partnership, Urban Skye will be the organization that we raise funds through for our ongoing ministry in the city of Denver. Check out Urban Skye at http://www.urbanskye.org.
As urban missionaries with Urban Skye, our main focus will be starting a new church in the city called Ecclesia Denver (http://www.ecclesiadenver.org). To this point there have been two worship gatherings for Ecclesia. We will continue to gather weekly on Sunday nights and will be starting several missional communities during the week soon.
