It has been quite a while since we posted an update. This might be representative of the craziness of our schedules now with a newborn at home. We also had a really nice visit from family all of last week. Now we are trying to figure out what the new-normal is for our lives. We are still fumbling around with our schedules and will probably be tinkering with it for a while.
In any case, Olivia is doing great. She got a really good report from her doc on Monday. She weighed 8lbs 11oz and is 21.5" long. She is still on oxygen but a study will be done on her in a couple weeks to see if she can come off of it. She eats about every four or five hours and goes for six or seven at night.
Today Alvin is taking Olivia to school for show-and-tell. He has been adjusting to having his sister at home. He has been good with her and seems glad to have her at home. There are times, though, when he isn't getting attention and lets us know about it with his actions. Alli and I are trying to figure out ways we can give time to him to help him make the transition. The show-and-tell was his teacher's idea.
