On Monday night we went to the Rockies game at Coors Field. This was Olivia's first game at Coors Field and the first one that Alvin can remember (although he's been there twice before). I took the kids early so we could watch batting practice from the left field bleachers where our seats were. A number of balls were hit our way but none right at us - probably a good thing because they were coming in very hard. After batting practice a nice man walked by and gave both kids balls that he had caught.
Allison's family joined us for the game. There was plenty to snack on (peanuts, sunflower seeds, Cracker Jack). Unfortunately the Rockies lost the game which made for a quiet ride home. We were all bummed. Stinkin Marlins. Yet, overall, it was a fun evening and great to be back at Coors Field. There's just something comfortable about being there.
