Easter Sunday 2014

We had a wonderful day today. It began with an ecumenical sunrise service at the cemetery with three other local pastors and people from the community. Then came a community Easter breakfast with ham, eggs, and pancakes. Our Easter worship was bright and lively. The sanctuary smelled sweet with all the lilies and our choir blessed us with two beautiful songs.

Following worship, the Wible clan went to Ironstone Vineyards for an Easter egg hunt. Although it didn't take long for all the eggs to be found it was fun to do. We ended the day with an Easter bunny cake complete with a bow tie.

Olivia woke up early to see what the Easter bunny left in her basket. She was excited for candy and lots of goldfish. She polished off most of the goodies today, including her entire chocolate bunny.

Olivia got the Frozen soundtrack - she loves to dance to it. Alvin got a rainbow loom kit for making bracelets. And what's Easter without Peeps. Thank you, Easter bunny.

Mmmmm... Lemon frosting.

Happy Easter!
