It's that time of year when the temperature slowly drops, the sun goes down just a bit earlier in the evening, and the green chiles come into season. Gratefully, I was able to find these late summer chiles at Schnucks for $1.49/lb. Here's my chiles roasting on the grill. Next step will be a pork, green chile stew!
